On March 18, representatives from Karelia University of Applied Sciences in Finland and the University of Sunderland in UK visited our college respectively. Qiao Liqing, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, Zhuo Wuyang, Dean of the College, Pan Hailan, Dean of Teaching, and Heads of relevant majors received the delegation. Accompanying the delegation was Yu Shen, Head of Overseas Student Programs of the International Exchange Office.
At 1:00 p.m., Liisa Timonen, a representative of Karelia University of Applied Sciences and Director of the InternationalOffice, Finland, and two other people visited our college, and both sides focused on discussing more opportunities for cooperation in the future, including master's degree student exchange programs, joint research cooperation, and summer exchange activities.
Karelia University of Applied Sciences (KUAS)is a famous university in Finland, which is well known both at home and abroad for its excellent teaching and research level. Our university and the University of Applied Sciences have been maintaining a close cooperation relationship after both sides jointly participated in the EU Erasmus+ program, which provides exchange opportunities for students to obtain full scholarships from the European Union.

At 3:00 pm, a group of four people, including Tuesday Sampson, the representative of the University of Sunderland (UK) and head of East Asia, visited our college, and the two sides had an in-depth discussion on the College to Undergraduate Program, College to Master Program and undergraduate Dual Degree Program, as well as the 3+1+1 Undergraduate Program and the Master's Degree Internship Program.
The University of Sunderland is a leading public research university in the UK, with a strong faculty and a wealth of teaching resources. The University is well-recognized internationally for its research and teaching achievements in various fields. The University of Sunderland and the University of Sunderland have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and have successfully implemented a 3+1 dual degree program.
