In order to deeply study Xi Jinping's cultural thought, implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important thoughts on youthwork and his important exposition on promoting the creative transformation and innovative development of Chinese outstanding traditional culture, deepen college students' knowledge and understanding of Chinese outstanding traditional culture, strengthen cultural confidence, unite college students to build the best practice place for Xi Jinping's cultural thought, and create a sample of Shanghai and a sample of colleges and universities with cultural confidence, we are launching a cultural creativity contest with the theme of "Transmitting and creating China's model, leading the tide of the times", and notify the following.
I. Objects of collection
All students of the School of Economics and management
Individuals are required to submit no more than two (2) pieces (sets) of works from the same participant, while there is no limitation on the number of team submissions, and each team entry shall have no more than four (4) authors for each piece (set) of work, and the same piece(set) of work can only be selected for one track.
II. Theme of the competition
The theme of this cultural and creative work collection competition is the transmission and Creation of the Chinese model, leading the tide of the times.
The contents of cultural creative works should closely focus on the two themes of Chinese excellent traditional culture and red culture, guide young students to study and explore the connotations of traditional culture in depth, make good use of the red cultural resources, achieve the integration of tradition and reality, encourage innovative expression, scientific and technological empowerment, cross-sectoral cooperation, and integrate into daily life to stimulate the vitality of Chinese excellent traditional culture in the new era, and show the sense of responsibility and sense of mission of the contemporary college students in carrying forward Chinese excellent traditional culture. It also demonstrates the sense of responsibility and mission of contemporary university students inheriting and carrying forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture, the pioneering spirit of contemporary university students in adhering to creative transformation and innovative development, and the noble aesthetic pursuit and noble character cultivation of contemporary university students in inheriting the essence of culture and carrying forward the spirit of aesthetics.
III. Competition schedule
For individuals or group organizations to apply(group size not more than 4 people), please send the application form (Annex1), summary table (Annex 2), and the design of the complete work packaged in the form of a zip package to the Publicity Department of the College's New MediaCenter at sspujgxmt2024@163.com by April 15 (Monday), with a uniform email subject of " Name + Traditional Culture CreativeCompetition".

IV. Track Categories and Entry Categories
(i) Track category
1. The "Hai Nai Chuan, Chao Yue Ancient and Modern" track
In the fertile soil of Chinese excellent traditional culture, relying on the catalyst of innovation and creativity colony of young talents, using the language of design to give vivid vitality to Chinese excellent traditional culture, designing national style cultural creative works in line with the concept of cultural inheritance and development, integrating fashion, trend, and tradition around revitalizing cultural resources, celebrating traditional festivals, and inheriting fine folk customs and traditions, and selecting topics for cultural and creative product design, to develop new perspectives and new thoughts for the inheritance and promotion of excellent traditional culture. Develop new vision and new ideas for the inheritance and development of excellent traditional culture, and fully demonstrate the spirit of Chinese aesthetics and Chinese aesthetic style.
2. "Create Heritage, Bid for Livelihood, Artistic Spirit" Circuit
Focusing on the inheritance and development of outstanding historical culture, characteristic non-heritage skills or cultural and creative fusion, and integrating them with modern urban elements, presenting a unique "Shanghai Today" style, and focusing on showing the beauty of China's intangible cultural heritage, advanced beauty, selecting themes for cultural and creative product design.
3. "The Dream of the Beginner's Heart, the Passing On" track
Focusing on relying on the rich red cultural resources, inheriting the red genes, the cohesion of young people to forge ahead, using red culture to sharpen the initial heart, tell the story of red culture, development and design of unique red cultural creative products.
(ii) Categories of works
The competition will enter works in categories including but not limited to graphic design, Product Design, and digital creativity (see Annex 3 for details). Specific requirements are based on the Requirements for Cultural and Creative Works of the 2024 Shanghai Student Cultural and Creative Competition (Annex 3).
IV. Awards and Selection Criteria
(i) Awards
The college will evaluate the works on the dimensions of innovation, design, aesthetics, and transformation, and submit them to the school league committee based on merit; the entries will have the chance to win the school-level awards and be pushed to the municipal level for participation.
The College Committee will award prizes based on submissions.
(ii) Selection criteria
Creativity 25% + Design 25% + Aesthetics 25% Conversion 25% for a total of 100%.
V. Entry requirements
1. The participating works meet the requirements of the theme of the event, comply with national laws and regulations, and conform to the socialist core values.
2. The intellectual property rights of the entities belong to the entrant. Participants are required to ensure that the entries are free from any intellectual property disputes, duplication, plagiarism, and misappropriation. Once discovered, the entry will be disqualified. Participants are responsible for any legal disputes related to their entries.
3. The Sponsor and the organizer of the competition have the right to exhibit, distribute, disseminate on the information network, and compile the works. If the intellectual property rights are infringed during the public display of the works and losses are caused to the participants, the organizer will not bear any responsibility, but will actively assist the creators in defending their rights within the scope of the law.
4. The final right of interpretation belongs to the Sponsor and the Contest Organizer.
