In 2024, the School of Economics and Management intends to recruit 70 professional degree master's degree students (including the special enrollment plan of "retired college soldiers") for the program of International Business (program code: 025400). It is decided by the leading group of enrollment work of the university that the retesting of master's degree students in 2024 will be conducted remotely on the internet. The relevant arrangements and requirements are as follows:

I. Format and Organization of the ReviewExamination

 1. The day before the review, the enrollment staff will contact the candidates by phone and guide them to carry out the test of the remote review system and the "two-computer" intermodulation, so the candidates are requested to keep their cell phones uninterrupted. Candidates are required to download, install, and register for the Scholarship Review System and the Tencent Conference System in advance, the operation of which is set out in the Candidates' Operation Manual of the RemoteInterview System for Admission (bm.chsi.com.cn/ycms/kssysm/).

2. The day before the reexamination, candidates complete a psychological test. Login website: https://yjsxlcs.sspu.edu.cn/UniversityPsy/ (please use 360 browser compatibility mode to open), the login account and initial password of the candidates will be assigned and sent by the College's retesting staff. Cellphone scanning QR code can also answer the questions (QR code see the end of the article). Candidates' login account is a pre-set account, please make sure to update personal information, such as name, gender, education, etc., through the "Information Modification" in the upper right corner after login, and candidates are required to complete two test questions.

3. On the day of the retest, candidates will be retested via the Internet, and each candidate will have no less than 20 minutes for the retest. The operation method is shown in the CandidateOperation Manual of the Admission Remote Interview System:bm.chsi.com.cn/ycms/kssysm/.

(ii) Offline retesting

Candidates for offline retesting shall go to the campus to retest in the classrooms designated by the college, but the related matters shall also be completed through the online retesting system Scholastic Credit Network. Candidates shall complete the download, installation, account registration, identification, signing of the"Commitment on Honest Retest Retesting", submission of retesting materials, logging into the system to wait for the examination, etc. A psychological quality assessment needs to be completed when candidates are waiting for the examination, and the operation is the same as the aforementioned online retest psychological quality assessment. Each candidate'sretesting time is not less than 20 minutes.

II. Review of qualifications

Before the re-examination, candidates must insert the original electronic version of the following qualification materials into a template file (filename naming method: Candidate'sName + Applicant's Specialty + Research Direction) and upload it to the Remote Re-examination System of Xuexin.com, and the template file can be found in Attachment 1.
       1. A Letter of Commitment for Integrity in Re-examination signed by himself/herself, the template is attached as Annex 2.

2. Valid identification documents (front and back) for the person himself/herself.

3. preliminary examination permit (China Postgraduate Admission Network has been opened for download).

4. Proof of the results of the preliminary examination (from the admissions unit online download the preliminary examination transcript).

5. Certification of academic degrees

① Freshmen provide the student ID card with a complete registration stamp or the Online Verification Report of SchoolRegistration of the Ministry of Education downloaded from Xuexin.com.

② Former students to provide academic degree certificates or Xuexin network to download the "Ministry of EducationCertificate of Education electronic registration record table", can not be verified online candidates to provide "China's higher education qualifications certification report

(iii) Candidates with overseas academic qualifications shall provide the Certificate of Foreign Academic Degrees from the Service Center for Overseas Education of the Ministry of Education.

④ Equivalent candidates provide a college degree certificate (or a certificate of completion of a college undergraduate degree)

⑤ Fresh undergraduate graduates of adult education and candidates of self-study examination and network education who have not obtained the undergraduate education certificate at the time of application shall provide relevant certificates issued by the provincial higher education self-study examination offices or network education colleges and universities that have issued the certificates.

6. University transcripts with official seals(official seals of the school's academic affairs department or record-keeping unit are acceptable).

7. English Language and Literature 4 or 6certificate or transcript.

8. Abstract of the thesis (design).

9. Scholarship certificates, certificates of academic competitions, and other materials that prove your specialty and ability.

10. Candidates for the Special Program for Retired College Soldiers must provide the Certificate of Approval for enlistment of Conscripted Citizens and the Certificate of Withdrawal from Active Duty in addition to the above materials.

  Special reminder: Candidates who have failed the qualification examination or who have not conducted the qualification examination will not be allowed to take the reexamination. For those who submit materials that are inconsistent with the actual situation or fraudulent, once found, the university will cancel their admission to the reexamination, enrollment qualifications, or their academic status. If the situation is serious, it will be transferred to the relevant departments for handling according to relevant laws and regulations.

III. Online retesting equipment and environmental requirements

1. System requirements. The University adopts the Xuexin.com retesting system as the preferred system for remote retesting, and the Tencent conferencing system as the backup retesting system. Candidates should download, install, and register the Xuexin.com Review System and Tencent Conference System in advance, and cooperate to complete the simulation test of the remote review system to ensure that the review requirements are met.

To cope with the unexpected situation of the retesting system, Tencent Conference is used as the backup system for the retesting. To meet the requirement of "dual seat", candidates are requested to prepare at least two Tencent Conference accounts in advance, which are named Candidate's Name 1 and Candidate's Name 2respectively.

2. Machine configuration. Candidates participating in the re-examination shall use a "dualcamera". The "first camera" from the candidate directly in front of the candidate to collect the candidate's own audio and video information, retesting the whole open, the camera can not be in a too-small range of view, and the candidate's head and shoulders above the front of the face and hands must be in the video recording range. The "second camera" should be able to capture the overall situation of the candidate's environment, located at the far end of the retesting place, at an angle of 45° to the candidate's back, and be able to capture the candidate himself/herself and the computer screen, and be turned on throughout the retesting process.

3. Equipment requirements. Candidates are recommended to use computers (laptops or desktop computers external cameras, and microphone equipment) as the "first machine" retest equipment, and smartphones as the "second machine" retest site monitoring equipment. The audio and video signals of the"dual-camera" should be captured clearly and smoothly. Candidates are requested to prepare the relevant equipment in advance and determine the filming positions of the equipment in the two positions, ensure that the the equipment has sufficient power and memory space during the retest, connect to a high-quality network, and try to use a wired network connection and 4G, 5Gconnection to ensure that the equipment functions meet the requirements of the university. Candidates may prepare spare equipment appropriately according to their situation. The video retesting system should always be displayed in full screen during the video retesting process when candidates are using their computers or cell phones. Candidates' devices are not allowed to run other pages or software, and they must completely close all kinds of applications that may interrupt or affect the examination, especially software that is prone to pop-up windows such as WeChat and QQ, etc., to ensure that their devices are in a distraction-free state, and to ensure that the retesting process is not interfered or interrupted by other factors. If the video retest is interrupted due to other applications or software, the consequences shall be borne by the candidates themselves. In the event of network interruption and other emergencies, please do not panic, and make sure that the cell phone number you have filled in when applying for the exam can answer the phone normally.

4. Environmental requirements. Candidates must be alone and in a quiet space during the retest, and other electronic equipment must be turned off in the retest room so that no other sounds that may interfere with the conduct of the retest will be allowed. The brightness of the environment is appropriate, the light is not too dark and does not backlight. During the retest, there must not be any other person in the retest room other than the candidate himself/herself, and the candidate must not consult the materials in any way or accept any assistance from other people or organizations in any way. The video background during the retest must be a real environment; virtual backgrounds or replacement of video backgrounds are not allowed.

IV. Discipline and regulations for reexamination

1. The retest is part of the national graduate admission examination, and the content of the retest is a state secret. Throughout the examination, candidates and other people are prohibited from taking screenshots, video recordings, photographs, screen recordings, and audio recordings of the examination, from communicating with the outside world, and from divulging or publicizing the relevant information. Anyone who violates the relevant regulations will be disqualified and held accountable. The content of the private violation of audio and video recording of the review process will not be accepted in the supervision and review, and if necessary, will be held legally responsible.

2. Candidates shall consciously obey the unified arrangement of the university and the college, and attend their examination on time according to the specified time nodes. Candidates who fail to attend the reexamination on time without any special reasons, and who are contacted by phone, SMS, or email without any result, will be disqualified from the reexamination by the university. Candidates are required to keep their contacts open throughout the stage of the re-test so that they can be contacted by the college.

3. The university sends notification of re-examination and notification of proposed admission through the"National Master's Degree Enrollment Re-examination and Transfer Service System". Candidates should check and receive the notification message in time after submitting their transfer volunteers and do not easily propose to unlock the volunteers in advance during the locking period of transfer volunteers when the university is selecting the transfer candidates to enter into the re-examination. If you need to propose unlocking at the later stage of the locking time, please go to the webpage of the Graduate School (https://yjs.sspu.edu.cn/)or the public number of the Graduate School to apply for the research and enrollment consulting platform, and the staff of the School will confirm the situation before unlocking the volunteers in advance.

4. During the retest, if candidates use cell phones to join the platform, (1) if they are networked with mobile data traffic, they will turn off the cell phone call function or set it to call forwarding; (2) if they are networked with WIFI, they can directly turn off the mobile data connection and cell phone call function. If there is a connection during the re-examination process, candidates are required to turn on the cell phone signal the first time to ensure that the school gets in touch with them.

5. At the beginning of the retest, you are required to present your valid ID card and preliminary examination pass(downloaded and printed from the China Graduate Admissions Information Network)to complete the verification and validation of the candidate's identity (online test).

6. Candidates shall ensure that their images in the video are clear during the retest, that they do not overly groom themselves, that they do not wear sunglasses, hats, headgear, masks, headphones, etc., and that their hair does not cover their faces and ears. Candidates should keep their eyes on the camera throughout the retest, and they should not change their voices or images in any way. Candidates are not allowed to leave their seats in the middle of the examination, and unrelated persons are not allowed to be present in the examination area, otherwise, it will be regarded as cheating (online retesting).

7. Candidates shall consciously accept the management, supervision, and inspection of the review teacher during the review examination. In case of a network interruption or other emergencies during the examination, candidates shall consciously submit to the arrangement of re-taking the examination. If any special difficulties participating in the online remote examination, please contact the college in advance.

8. At the end of the retest, candidates should exit the online retest examination room at the request of the retesting staff. After exiting the examination room, candidates are not allowed to re-enter their test examination room.

V. Admission

For those candidates who have passed their examination and are qualified for a proposed admission, the university will send a notice of pending admission to the candidates to be admitted to the ChinaGraduate Student Enrollment Information Network of the Ministry of Education in 1-2 days after the reexamination. Candidates are required to log in to the transfer service system within the specified time to confirm the pending admission. The university will cancel the pending admission status of the candidates who fail to confirm on time and who have been contacted by phone, SMS, or email without any result. Once the proposed admission is confirmed in the transfer system, the university will not cancel the proposed admission status. The list of proposed admissions will be publicized by the requirements of the Ministry of Education after being considered and approved by the Graduate Admissions Leading Group of the university. The final admission list shall be reviewed and approved by the Ministry of Education.

If the above content is not consistent with the Ministry of Education and other relevant regulations, the spirit of the National Master's Degree Enrollment Regulations 2024 and other relevant documents of the State and Shanghai Municipality shall prevail. Candidates should pay attention to the latest notification of the Graduate School Admissions.
